Labor Day Sales~

Finally I have a bit of time to blog! I can't say that college is stressful or anything (because it's really not). I've just been cruising along, but I've been so busy. I never have time to do what I love...BLOG! :D
Couple weeks ago I went back to my hometown (where I will never take the mall for granted ever again), and did some labor day shopping.
Do you mind if I share my buys with you. Okay. Here goes!

I picked the perfect time to hit the mall, the sales they had were awesome! Just look at all those goodie bags!

I'm not familiar with the Sinful Colors brand, but they were only 1.99 each, I'll make a separate post about them. And I FINALLY got a mint nail polish! It is called 'Re-fresh mint' and it's by China Glaze, a brand that I know very well. Since it's such a special find, I'll do a separate post about that one too. ^_^;
and Can you believe that Sephora put their creme lipsticks on clearance? Only 3 bucks man. Compared to the original price of 12 dollars, I was to excited to buy this product. Not to mention, it's my 1st lipstick! It's a pink color. Of course, it'll be reviewed in a separate post~

I didn't know that Clear Care made shampoo for ethnic hair. Remember when I was sent a sample of the original clear care to review and I was in love with the shampoo? Yeah. Think of that review times 100. It's infused with shea moisture, can't get any better than that. And of course I finally bought another bottle Of Curl's Lavish Curls liquid moisturizer which I also liked. I also re-bought my #1 staple product: One N' Only Aargon Oil Conditioner. And threw in some vitamin E oil.

Forever 21 was having a sale on yoga pants buy 1 get one free. And the first pair was only 3 dollars to begin with. I'm obsessed with yoga now. I've only taken one class but I can't get enough of it! Who knew it could be so relaxing?! Prefect for a long day of boring classes. The pink ones are yoga shorts, they make me look so sunfully curvy, love it!

Dorm Room Essentials

I'm going to college this fall, you guys! I don't know how many times I'm going to say that on this blog but--
I'm going to college this fall you guys! I'm shipping off to my dream university in the fall!
My excitement can not be contained. This post will be about Dorm Room Essentials.

Here are just a few items that will be jazzing up my dorm room. The theme is black, with turquoise accents (my favorite color btw). My room at home is 100% turquoise, so I deiced to stick with it so I won't miss my room to much. :'( And the black? It adds sophistication.

This laundry basket is a decent size. It's not as big as I would like it to be, I have a truck load of clothes. But, hopefully, this will encourage me to wash clothes more often. It was $15 from Ross.

Do you know how hard it is to find Twin XL bedding?! It is a bitch! I understand the main reason is because only college dorms have twin xl beds and you don't usually find that size mattress in the average home. I have the standard twin sized bed myself! and honestly, my bed at home and the beds at UNT look like the same size to me. :/ What is it? A 5inch difference? Pah.

Target has got your back though. Especially the target where my college is located, they were stocked FULL of dorm bedding. They even had Twin XL mattress pads. Very convenient. The comforter was $50, and the sheets were $20.

Pillows so my bed won't be boring, and a throw blanket for decoration, or if I need to lend it to a fellow resident because they're in sexile. ^_^;
Just a couple hours ago, I also bought bath rug, so I or my roommate won't trek water on the floor as we come out the shower. As for decorations? I still have lots of shopping to do. I have no little statuettes or pictures of friends (not like I have many anyway), or awesome posters. I don't plan on going all out, seeing as how I won't even be spending to much time in my dorm. It's basically just going to be where I sleep and change clothes. But still, I want it to look a little nice, y'know?

Spring Break Disaster turned gold

Spring break horrible. It was non-exsistant pretty much. Finally being 18, and having a bit of independence, My friend, sister and I wanted to go on an itty bitty trip to have a good time before our senior year ended. We were all just gonna go up to San Antonio, rent a small hotel room for a couple days, go shopping, go get pierced, eat some bomb ass mexican food and definatley go to Six flags! It was going to be bright and sunny and everything was to be prefect,

We had literally been planning this event for months! Seriously, From December all the way until it happened. We were so ready Omg. We rented this cute hotel room! and it was only 80 per night. It had free breakfast and it was within a 5 mile radius from every where we wanted to visit.

Then we bought our Six Flags tickets, now all we needed was a rental car. We thought "No worries". Destinee's (my friend) cousin will rent the car, she's 23 so everything should be allright. I mean like, she was our only option, no one else would rent it for us.

Okay, so we get to the rental car dealership and they deny us! They say that you need a Texas driver's license! >:( like wtf. They could've told us ahead of time. Seriously. So ugh. It was hot and we was mad. Dissapointed.

We ended up going to the Galleria and released some much needed stress through shopping therapy.

We shopped in a store called Gilly Hicks. It's the sister of Hollister and Abercrombie, except they're not as obnoxious with their logo and they sell awesome bras and panties!

Not to mention the killer sale they had. I know it's damn near summer, but off season shopping is when you score the BEST deals.

I picked up this preppy cardigan and a fluffy jacket. Had to get them in large. :( My friend and sister took all the smalls they had. and really, I need a medium. But whatever. Large will do. Instead of paying $100 for the coat and $50 for the cardigan. I only paid 30....for both. Red line deals with an additional 40% off. mm-hmm.  can't wait for next winter.

(i need to shrink it. it has no shape. :/)

I picked up 3 body sprays. Apple Orchid smells like yummy green apples. Calla Bluff is pina colada scented. and Velvet Cassia is a fruity/floral mix. I try not to spray to much. They're really strong and make me woozy. One spritz'll do.

and bras. I purchased 2 demis. The one from pink does nothing for me! It makes me look so flat chested. :'(
But my VS one is fab. It has some type of memory foam which gives a subtle lift.

and along with my purchase I got a complimentary gift caaaaard! Turns out mine is only work 10 dollars. But y'know, whatevs. It's cool.

But yahh. Umm.
How did your spring break go?!

It's mine, I spend it!

Took a micro shopping trip at DSW a few days go. I went in wanting to buy a purse.

My mom loves to nag. :) Constantly nagging me, saying "You're 18 now, a young lady, you need to carry a purse instead of just a wallet". So ugh, whatever. Why not. I like purses.

I purchased this GUESS bag. It's humongous! Very sophisticated. & Makes me feel like a boss lady.

See how deep it is? I think I might use this as a book bag next year when I go off to college. perhaps a laptop holder?

annnnd, I bagged some snazzy new kicks.
They're the Biscayne Sperry's. I think this may be a limited edition/retired design, because they're not on the sperry website, or DSW, they're not even on ebay. Good thing I got them when I did.

just to dern cute to pass up. i mean like, every girl needs at least one animal print in her wardrobe. having them on shoes? how could you not buy them?

i can see already that these are going to look great with everything.
