My foodie trip to New Orleans

I just recently took a trip to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. But I'm not blogging about that, seeing as how it wasn't all of that. Honestly, it wasn't bad, but it just wasn't what I expected. It's more for the kiddos. No flashing , no drunken idiots on the street. Just some good ol' clean bead throwing. Nothing too exciting about that.

I did enjoy my time there tho. Because I was with my bf 24/7. I met his whole entire family (and I know they dont like me), and we just bonded out there.
and of course the food.

We went to Krispy Kreme. My bf swears that these are the best donuts in America. IDK. They're alright. I prefer Shipley's, they're way fluffier and don't slather the donut with to much glaze.

But the inside was intriguing. I had my face glued to the window like the little girl next to me. ^_^;

These Big Shot Sodas are the "it thing", out there. Like seriously, instead of people drinking a Coke or Sprite, they drink these. I'm not much a soda drinker, but uhh...I was drinking them. :]

Crawfish. Yum. It wasn't as spicy as I like it, but they flavor was nice. and 3 lbs for 20 dollars is a good deal.

My beads. Pretty right?

Did I tell you I got sloppy drunk? Yeah, I got drunk. In front of his fam. Oh well. :)
The Ciroq was being good to me.

Chocolate + Customize = Chocomize = The perfect Valentine's Gift!

Chocolate goes hand in hand with Valentines day. We all know that.
When you get to customize it, that's when it becomes interesting.
If you dont already know, let me introduce you to---

Chocomize is a company that let's you choose what you want in your bar. "The possibilities are endless."
They have topping such as bacon, potato chips, rose petals, jelly beans, sea salt, cayenne pepper, gummy bears and omg, so much more. First, you choose a base chocolate, like so:

and here's a few ingredient pages.
(click to "enhance")

I purchased 4 bars. One for me, my sister, my mummy, and my boyfwend.
They averaged about 8 dollars each, simply we decided to load on everything that our eyes liked. Totally worth it. Also, to save a few bucks, use the code "FBinsider" at checkout to get 10% off.

and here they are! Let's start off with the simplest one.

This was only supposed to be a gag gift. But I think that he may actually enjoy it. His contains potato chips and bacon, topped with a plaque. Can't really tell if the plaque is edible, but I'm sure it is. ^_^; I can't wait to see the look on his face.

Suprisingly, the chips are huge, and not broken.

Up next:
We have my bar.

I didn't want anything to crazy. I kept with traditional items. It has hazel nuts, caramel pieces, toffee bits, and sprinkled with sea salt.

I'm sick, so I want to wait until I get better so that I can actually taste it in all it's glory.

Next we have:
My mummy's chocolate

OMFG. Her's is absolutely delish! The chocolate is so smooth and creamy, you can tell they put time into making it. Ok. She has Pecan halves, cayenne pepper, sea salt, potato chips, and toffee bits.

You can certainly taste the pepper, it's not evident at first, but then it punches you in the throat. Very spicy and I like it. The chips are crunchy and the salt adds that perfect ending. This is chocolate at it's finest.

and lastly:
I bet you all were wondering what that last one was.
Well...it is def. the odd ball.
This is my sister's creation.

Just look at the colors, they really pop against the while chocolate base. doesn't look to appetizing does it?

She had the um...exotic combination of cayenne pepper, ground coffee beans, whole coffee beans, and pop rocks.

Okay, so upon putting these in my mouth, it was really funky! The coffee bean is so pungent. But then you start letting all the flavors mend and the pop rocks get to popping and the cayenne is burning and it's actually tasty. surprisingly it all worked! not my favorite, but still enjoyable.

oh yeah. they left a note.
So thank you chocomize! For a fun, tasty treat go there and create your own!

Good Morning Krusty Krew!

This post is about to be so yellow.
I'm not a Rilakkuma fan, not even really an HK fan.
But Spongebob, he just gets me. :')

I still remember when I first watched the show. I was 6, maybe 7, sitting in my bed. It was dark, so the glare was too intense for my little eyes to handle. So I'm inches away from the tv, squinting. Spongebob looked at me, and I looked at him, and it was love. Instant love. Good times. Aywho! Where to start?!

I'll start with my wallet.

My to ah-mazing boyfriend got this for me for Christmas. He's the one that feeds my SB fetish. Seriously. He just knows me to damn well. He got this from Spencer's, and you can too! I've never used it, so yeah, it's still in perfect condition. It's just one of these things that's to pretty to touch. I do plan on using it some day. But until then, it's on display.

and then my to ah-mazing boyfriend got me these for my Birthday. They're over the ear head phones. The sound quality sucks. Sounds like those 3 dollar head phones you get from Walmart next to the candy, but they're cute. I actually do use them when I can't find my good ones.

iHip is the brand. The part that goes over your ears have Spongebob's eyes, and the band has a siloute of his body. These were def. made for children. They're small and barely fit over my big head.

(teehee, i look cute)

 oh yeah. I have a shirt to match the wallet. ^_^;

okay. I know. Time to grow up already.

and my favorite jammies. they're big and comfy and i don't care that they fall of my butt every time I stand.
Story time:
Just as I was about to post this, my ah-mazing boyfriend comes in my house, and gives me this!

a super-cute spongebob flash drive. Which is so freaking weird, because I was just looked up SB flash drives that very same day on ebay! The good thing about this one is that it's a licensed product. I swear, the other ones looked like they were made by a street vendor. Goodness Gracious. That guy. :) <3 :')

On to the Review!

(Close-up)
Color/Design: 9/10 - Looking at these in the bottles, I was a bit dissapointed at first. The color just looked so pale and faint, I didn't think they'd do much to my eyes. I was so wrong. They show up great! They're that perfect violet color that I long for in circle lenses. I just wish that there a little bit less black and more violet. The design is pretty---interesting. The pupil whole is jagged, and black specks liter the entire lens. UNF! THEY'RE SOOOOO PRETTY!

Enlargement: 10/10 - I'm pretty sure that these are 14.5, I compared them to a 15mm lens, and they're not as big. They enlarge decently. Not to crazy.

Comfort: 10/10-  These are some of the most comfortable lenses that I've worn in a while.

(Flash)

 (Bath room Light)

Overall: These lenses are to freaking gorgeous. I am so happy that UNIQSO sent them to me. :') Everything about these s just so on point. It makes me definatley want to try out the other colors in the series.
